When Slappin Chick, a street food brand resonating with a young demographic between 16 and 30, approached our marketing agency, we understood the gravity of this maxim. To truly connect with this demographic and amplify Slappin Chick's brand presence, we recognized the need for a genuine touch. The solution? A direct trip to Long Island, New York.

OBJECTIVE

The core objective was twofold. First, to capture dynamic, modern visuals that would resonate deeply with Slappin Chick's audience. Second, to leverage these visuals across various digital platforms, enhancing them with targeted advertising strategies that would ensure the brand’s message was not just heard, but felt across channels like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Yelp, and Google My Business.

STRATEGY & EXECUTION

Our team's journey to Long Island was not just a trip but a mission. The advantage of being physically present in Long Island allowed us to capture visuals that were not only modern but pulsated with an authenticity difficult to replicate from afar.
Adding a sonic dimension to these visuals, we integrated hip-hop beats, which are not only popular within our target demographic but also align with the energetic vibe of the brand. This auditory element ensured that the content was engaging, keeping viewers hooked and asking for more. With the content ready, it was then carefully integrated across Slappin Chick’s digital platforms.
Instagram and TikTok were flooded with stories, reels, and posts showcasing behind-the-scenes glimpses and snippets that encapsulated the brand's identity.

On Facebook, engaging polls and carousel ads gave users a visual taste of SlappinChick. Meanwhile, platforms like Yelp and Google My Business were updated with this fresh content, boosting the brand’s authenticity and appeal.
 
Simultaneously, we were hired to execute targeted advertising. By crafting customized audience profiles on Meta and Google, we ensured the brand’s message found its way to those most likely to engage and resonate with it.

RESULTS

The outcomes were beyond encouraging. Engagement metrics surged, with noticeable upticks in shares, likes, and comments across platforms. The brand’s visibility received a tremendous boost, especially in the Long Island region and surrounding areas, testament to the power of genuine, localized content. Feedback poured in, with users frequently applauding the fresh and relatable visuals stemming from our New York experience.
